How do we select the coffee that comes from farmers. Are there any criteria’s ?
Our Farmers Harvest range is made up of a growing selection of limited edition coffees.
We select coffees that enrich the coffee experience through their quality, variety and origins.
We look for individual character in coffee. Each is as different as the people that make and drink them. Each is chosen for their distinctive flavor and character.
All together they offer a portfolio of distinctive tastes from three continents, different coffee varieties, altitudes, and processing methods
Why don’t I taste or identify all the flavors and aromas in the coffee you sell?
Not everybody is a tasting expert. No worries. You will get the hang of it.
A good tip is to start small by simply asking yourself what you smell and taste. For example, coffee can be dark and rich (like chocolate and caramel), light and refreshing (like citrus fruits), or spicy (like nutmeg or pepper). Ask yourself which of these is the most dominant. You can then build on this by starting to identify the other subtle flavors. To appreciate all the different aromas and tasting notes, take your coffee black. Adding lots of milk and sugar will make it harder to identify subtle flavours.
If you’re really struggling to identify the different aromas and tasting notes, you could invite your coffee-loving friends to a casual tasting and see what your mates can taste. The more types you try, the better you will get at identifying the differences, so keep exploring and tasting new coffees.
But, don’t forget that the whole point is to simply relax and enjoy your coffee, so don’t worry too much about all the tasting notes. Just concentrate on finding coffees you love to drink and share!
Blends are mixtures of two or more coffees. Our Blends are created by our international R&D team, one of the best there is. Their task is to come up with recipes that create a unique taste with layers and depth. They are balanced mixes in which every ingredient sings!
The types of coffee vary according to many criteria’s like country, processing method, aroma, intensity and so on.
It simply means without caffeine. The process we use for taking out the caffeine is 100% natural.
